How it started in 1962
The Pancake House opened in 1962 when north Norfolk was a tight-knit neighborhood of familiar faces. The idea was simple — cook everything to order, use honest ingredients, and make every guest feel at home.

When the second generation took over, they didn't change a thing — because nothing needed fixing. Same made-to-order standards, same fresh ingredients, same unhurried pace that turns first-timers into twenty-year regulars.

Breakfast classics are still at the heart of it, but the menu has grown — grill favorites, daily homemade specials, a full bar with signature Bloody Marys and mimosas, and standouts like the Chef Salad and Ultimate Brownie Sundae.
